This is a card I did for my Aunt's birthday a couple of weeks ago. I was experimenting with the background, which I loved & then it was building on that with UFOs (for the non-crafters that's Un Finished Objects) from the craft cupboard! Again the flowers were in the cupboard, so I can't tell you what colours are on them but the ink was definately Stampin' Up. But however I got there - I'm very happy with it.
STAMPS: Stampin' Up Fifth Avenue Floral / En Francais / Tiny Tags
PAPER: Glossy white, Watercolour paper & Cream card
INKS: Staz On Timber Brown, Stampin' Up Bashful Blue / Marina Mist / Baja Breeze + Flower
ACCESSORIES: Copper Embossing Powder, Pearl split pins, and Ribbon

Books and Trivia Nights
As my post title suggests I went to a Trivia Night on the weekend. Now we thought we were doing pretty OK (make that awesomely great and destined to take home first prize)! Hitting a minimum 16/20 for nearly all categories - infact there were a few 18s and even a 20. Let me tell you they were pretty diverse. Alas we didn't win - although a great night was had by all.
Now I also finished this Saturday morning, but as you can tell - it wasn't the weekend highlight.

Mother's Day card
So a card to show you all - I was pretty very happy with this one. It was a huge success for Mother's Day - and my Mum loved it.
Now unfortunately I can't let you know what colour the flower is, as I did a heap ages ago, cut them out and put in a bag to use later. Obviously had a lot a patience and nothing to do at the time.
STAMPS:
Stampin' Up - Elementary Elegance / Fifth Avenue Floral / Tiny Tags
INK:
Stampin' Up - Pretty in Pink / Pink Pirouette / Rose Red + flower
Stazon - Timber Brown
PAPER:
Watercolour paper
Gloss white card
Recycled card
Cream card
ACCESSORIES:
Ribbon / Pearls / Watercolour pen / Daubers
Sewing machine with pink cotton
Stampin' Up - Jewellry Tag Punch
Don't you just love it when the plan in your head matches what you can do!

More readin'
Still no card to show, but just finished reading another book. It was a lovely birthday surprise, so I HAD to read it straight away! Like I needed an excuse to pick up a book and read! There are currently a few in my "to read pile", then I think I'll be looking for a few more Phryne books.
A big thankyou to my fellow bookworm for my pressie, it came in the mail, which only added a bit of extra excitement.
